As we read Genesis 18:1-8 we cannot help but say a word about the importance of CHRISTIAN HOSPITALITY. Entertaining strangers (Heb. 13:1–2), is a rare thing in our society.

One of the most important parts for Christian ministry is hospitality (Rom. 12:13; 1 Peter 4:9).

In fact, “given to hospitality’’ is one of the requirements for leadership in the local church (1 Tim. 3:2; Titus 1:8). When we lovingly serve others we are in turn serving Jesus Christ (Matt. 25:34–40), and we are promoting the spread of God’s truth (3 John 5–8). Give yourself to hospitality.
